My friend and I stayed here while completing our regional work for our visas here in Australia. Brian and Loretta are very hospitable. George is also very helpful for any queries. The hostel is well organized.

I recently stayed at Globe Backpackers and it was an incredible experience, especially for those looking to combine work and travel. The atmosphere is vibrant, with like-minded people from around the world. The common areas are spacious, and the Wi-Fi is impressively fast and reliable They always have work opportunities to extend your visa and they give you vans to go to them, which is incredible. I loved my stay there.

6 months farm work completed at this hostel and ended up returning for another two seasons of work. Brian & Loretta have gone out their way to help us during our time here. The hostel also provides some privacy as it is an apartment style, perfect for farm work. 🤟🏼

Stayed 2 seasons in the Globe Backpackers one of the best hostel in Griffith from what I heard and experienced, it's not like an ordinary hostel you get your own living room, kitchen and bathroom to share with 2 or 3 room-mates. I enjoyed every bit of it and actually it made my experience of WHV Australia very pleasant, and easy to get my working farm days thanks to Loretta and Brian.

I lived in Globe Backpackers for 4 months this year and made the greatest friends from my experience. You couldn’t ask for much more for a regional hostel. Brian & Loretta are very kind and caring owners, willing to go the extra mile to help out anyone who is within the hostel. All facilities needed on site or within your apartment and transport support for anything such as traveling to work. They helped me complete my visa days and supported me even when I was struggling. Hoping to return next year. Thank you for looking after me!

I recently spent 7 weeks here, and from the moment I arrived Brian and Loretta were very helpful and accomodating. Brian found me a farm job very quickly and was always friendly and approachable. The hostel itself was clean, and the rooms felt like I was at home. Overall if you're looking for a place with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly hosts, and the opportunity to meet amazing people, I can't recommend Globe enough! Thanks Brian and Loretta!

Many years since I stayed, made friends for life here. Brian and Loretta were always very helpful and a good laugh. They helped so many of us over the years. Finding work for all of us and running a great hostel at the same time can't be easy!! I actually miss the place and people there and hope to visit you all in the future. 10/10 👌😀

I never thought I'd spend 8 months in the same place in Australia, but I had to reconsider after finding myself in the wonderful microcosm that is Griffith. Good people, good vibes and plenty of job opportunities. Brian and Loretta have been really helpful with the job search. The rooms were spacious and full of utilities, I learned to cook good food for myself in that small kitchen. The common area is great and always full on nice people. Would definetly reccomend a stay!
